Matt WINS Tiger Translate Art Prize

Matt has been crowned winner of the Australian arm of the Tiger Translate art competition.

He was up against a fold of exceptional submissions, all with the theme of ‘Growth’ and containing some elements of the Tiger Beer branding in the artwork.  Matts’ ‘BUTTERFLIGER’ painting as it was dubbed by those at Tiger HQ, will be packed up and transported to Sydney to be shown at the Australian Tiger Translate party in November.  Here, Matt will spend 3 days painting and collaborating with a handful of artists from various parts of Asia, working on their concepts of East meets West.

As part of his prize, Matt will be sent to Asia in early-mid 2012 to represent Australia and compete in the Global Showcase, where he will paint live over several days in front of international art critics and art purveyors.
